Observing the transformation of raw elements and the combination of materials and components

has always been something enchanting for Vera Santiago.

Vera lived her childhood in the textile industry. This environment belonged professionally to her father but it was soon part of her life as well. It used to be in the textile manufacturers that Vera played while waiting for her father business meetings.

After her graduation in economics and post graduation in marketing, Vera spent ten years working with fabrics. She coordinated different teams being responsible for the development of products and for the launch of new collections in the biggest fairs of the sector at that time. This was a duty that she developed with pleasure.

The fashion environment has helped Vera to create a deeper connection with the world of forms and colors and, aligned with her negotiation skills that she inherited from her father, she was able to unite the creative environment with the commercial attributes of the business. With this expertise Vera has been collaborating with the furniture industry in the past 25 years.

Uniting designers, manufacturers and the consumer market is one of the roles that she assumes. Promoting products, developing market strategies, and generating greater connection among the different players in the market are some of the services that are being offered by Vera`s company in Brazil (agência de design).

Vera`s most recent project is to promote products designed by Brazilian designers in Europe. First, she helps designers and manufacturers to produce their pieces in Portugal where her headquarters is located while, at the same time, she can establish contact with clients all over Europe. In this sense, Vera has been researching and developing her network for the past three years in the European market and she is ready to help designers, manufacturers, and showrooms to develop their projects in the same field. Her main professional goal is to enable the production, promotion and commercialization of Brazilian products.
